As a result of the merger of Hunt Petroleum Corporation with XTO effective September 2, 2008, I joined XTO’s Land Department continuing to work, acquire and maintain prospective properties in the Rocky Mountain, Permian, and Mid-Continent Regions for XTO as to both operated and non-operated wells. A major prospect under my management is Saddle Butte Prospect, Dunn County, North Dakota consisting of approximately acres on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. In 2012, 22 Bakken Units were formed and infill drilling of 8-12 wells per unit started in 2013. Current status: 40 Bakken/Three Forks Units have been created - 61 wells drilled and producing to date with development ongoing.
