Offshore Electrification projects.Currently supporting Equinor, Njord A (NJEL) & OKEA, Draugen Electrification (Power from shore).These initiatives aim to reduce carbon emissions by replacing gas turbine generators (GTGs) with power sourced from hydroelectric plants via the Norwegian grid, while retaining GTGs as backup. A key innovation in the NJEL project is the implementation of SF6-free gas in the gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) to further minimize environmental impact.Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for NJEL 100 kV GIS, 11 kV SWBD & GCP modifications.Detailed design of package interfaces and control, including 11 kV SWBD, 40 MVA - 100/11 kV Transformer OLTC, 100 kV GIS & GTG - GCPs/TCPs.Deputising for NJEL electrical discipline lead as required.Interim PRE for Draugen, 50 MVA - 100/11 kV Transformer & 2x 3.5 MVA, 11/0.69 kV Transformers.
