KEY QUALIFICATIONS• Formal training and over 10 years experience in mass spectrometry (MS) analysis• Expertise in liquid chromatography including HPLC/UPLC method development, validation and transfer • Hands on experience with prototype and commercial MS equipment optimization, maintenance and troubleshooting (ion trap, quadrupole, triple quadrupole, time-of-flight, and Orbitrap analyzers)• Expertise in ambient ionization and atmospheric pressure ionization techniques; DESI, APCI, ESI, nESI• Experience with FDA GLP, cGMP and with DEA regulations and guidelines• Working knowledge of gas chromatography (GC), FT-IR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermometric gravimetric analysis (TGA) and wet chemistry • Hands on experience in organic synthesis and product purification
