Founded Koliber Biosciences to accelerate biological research through the use of machine learning and data science technologies. • Developed an Artificial Intelligence platform for peptide / protein discovery, obtained SBIR funding for platform commercialization, established relationships with biotech and academic partners and successfully completed several discovery projects. • Established a research lab to enable generation of key proof-of-concept data that brought in over $1M of non-dilutive funding through government grants (SBIR) and start-up competitions (SynBioBeta 2015). • Delivered key projects on budget and on time including development of models and software for a medical device, signal extraction algorithms for a diagnostic application and lead optimization models for drug discovery. • Responsible for Machine Learning as a Service projects including leadership of technical team, code prototyping and interactions with customers.
