ABOUT EVYAVAN MANOCHA

Hi, I’m Evyavan! LinkedIn usually highlights work and accomplishments, but I think it’s just as important to share a bit more about what makes me, me. So here’s a quick look at some of the things that drive me: 1. Solo Journey : I’m an only child who made the big move to Canada for university. Growing up, I always had a deep interest in finance, and studying abroad has only strengthened that passion. Each new experience here has fueled my drive to understand the ways business and finance shape the world around us. Competitions that Connect 🤝 : I’m a big believer in the power of competition to bring out the best in people. I’ve been involved in numerous stock pitch and business strategy competitions, and I find that the collaborative bonds I build during prep often last well beyond the event. For me, these experiences are about more than just winning—they’re about forming connections and learning from others. Future VC Aspirations : My passion for entrepreneurship, venture capital, and private equity is what fuels my long-term goal: to start my own fund. My first taste of this world came during COVID-19, when I launched a venture that aimed to do good by leveraging profits from wealthier clients to support small businesses and those in need. I believe building a business is easier when it’s rooted in making a positive impact on society.
