About Evonne Simms

As a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern shore, I consider myself to be a well educated individual who is well-spoken and able to perform well in my work. I have always gravitated towards the most challenging work loads with the mind-set that nothing is impossible. As a Project Manager, I am able to continue gaining experience and get non-stop training throughout the entire project. I assist in the development of project scope and bid documents as well as facilitate pre-bid, project kickoff and construction progress meetings with clients as well as sub-contractors. I manage each project through all phases; pre-construction, construction and post-construction. I am the liaison between the client and the subcontractors in an effort to effectively and efficiently resolve RFI\'s, review and approve submittals, review and approve shops drawings and manage project schedule. I am ultimately responsible for a projects budget and I document and process all PO\'s and invoices to ensure that the projects remain on budget. I am able to work effectively on a cross-functional project team to measure work progress against project schedules and report compliance to the upper management team to ensure contractors complete projects on time and per scope.
