As a candidate for a Masters in Public Health of Health Policy and Management at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, Evie is passionate about utilizing the intersection of public health and policy to inform and implement evidence-based policies that enhance the health and well-being of Americans. Often described as a self-motivated and ambitious individual, her academic and professional experience spans multiple key aspects of policymaking such as consulting, legislation, and research. Evie, a Legislative Assistant for the office of Congressman Richard E. Neal, is serving the First District of Massachusetts and advancing legislative initiatives aimed to improve the lives of constituents and those nationwide. In this role, she interacts directly with constituents daily, penning letters regarding legislative concerns from constituents, meeting with in-district organizations and groups, and filling in gaps as needed in the office to optimize outcomes. Through execution of these responsibilities, Evie has sharpened her ability to digest political information of all forms and bridge evident partisan divides across issue areas.
