Influences design team by providing the most current trim offerings, trend, and capabilities by bringing viable options to meet conceptual and seasonal requests understanding category specific needs across sportswear, outerwear & special projects • Develops and leads trims from concept to commercialization for multi-inline category seasonal trims as well as special project categories• Supports end-end trim development process that enables & elevates innovation, productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability• Partners with trim suppliers to deliver highly innovative trims and provides technical support with design, product development, product integrity, and vendor support• Owns trim testing reporting and risk assessments on developments -level sets expectations to product cross functional teams• Ensures all concepts developed meet testing requirements and end use is properly understood by cross-functional partners, suppliers, and garment vendors,• Conducts seasonal analysis to provide trim sourcing platform recommendations• Visits global factories and vendors to understand and evaluate the manufacturing process and capabilities within supply chain• Drives global supply chain mapping for supplier capability and evaluates risk; advises gaps and partners with material sourcing to minimize risk by ensuring nimble and proactive supply chain• Delegates operational tasks to other trim developers and acts as project lead and resource for large initiatives, process improvement and best practices
