ABOUT EVERETT FINERAN

Everett Fineran is the Assistant General Counsel of POOLCORP, the world\'s largest wholesale distributor of swimming pool supplies. In his hybrid capacities as an attorney and real estate broker, Everett handles a portfolio of some 400 properties totaling ten million square feet. He also oversees transactional and litigation matters, drawing on both his legal and real estate expertise. His complementing skillsets work hand in hand, providing a unique perspective when navigating challenging transactions. Majoring in Finance at Loyola University College of Business, Everett graduated magna cum laude in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Three years later, he received his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University College of Law, where he served as a member of the Loyola Law Review and ranked among the top students in his class. As head of the Transactional Practice Group for the New Orleans law firm Frilot LLC, he represented clients in a wide range of transactional matters. Everett is a licensed real estate broker, specializing in commercial real estate. He has managed over 30 real estate agents as a broker for a New Orleans brokerage, lectured for continuing education courses to his peers in the industry, and participated in multiple public speaking engagements. Among Everett’s academic appointments is the role of Adjunct Professor at Loyola University College of Law where he teaches one of the core curriculum law school classes for the bar exam. He also lectures at a bar preparation course and is an Editorial Board Member of Esquire Books, for which he co-authored “Equity Research” with Tulane Professor and Assistant Dean Peter Ricchiuti.
