About Evelyn Tran
Growing up, I was highly inquisitive and spent days planning out the best Pokemon teams. My 8 year old brain was calculating how to leverage these fantastical critters to become the best trainer no one ever was. At the same time, I loved storytelling and breaking down abstract concepts that encumbered my head. Often times, I\'d be pulling out my poorly drawn diagrams of type match ups and explaining my thought process to my friends during recess.I credit this childhood towards my affinity of blueprinting decisions, organizing data, and being able to illustrate the complexities of numbers into something concise. I am enamored with numbers and aspire for a life that allows me to think strategically, providing impact to companies whether it\'d be walking them through complex transactions or collaborating in meeting their financial objectives. I’m currently a Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) associate at Ernst & Young, having worked with clients across diverse industries in M&A transactions and technical accounting support. During my free time, I love helping college students and empowering them to reach their dream jobs.
