The JWNC is part of the Scottish Critical Technologies Supercluster. We are one of the largest and most exciting open access academic clean rooms in the UK. Over 30% of JWNC income comes from commercial activity via our partner Kelvin Nanotechnology Ltd (KNT)We work on devices including lasers, detectors, qubits, high power and high speed transistors in compound semiconductors, silicon photonics, superconducting circuits and MEMS, and in combining these into heterogeneous systems.
