SMG’s mission is to Inspire Futures. Central to this is fostering a society where everyone feels science is “for them” and can access its social and economic benefits. This commitment to being “Open for All” shapes our collections, public programming, workforce, culture, as well as recruiting and welcoming new talent.As a strategic lead for Open for All, I oversee SMG\'s talent programmes and bring an understanding and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion to this work. Specialising in early careers and skills development in the culture sector, I manage equitable access points into our workforce, ensuring all participants are supported and empowered. My work targets historically underrepresented and underserved communities, creating meaningful opportunities within the sector.
