I graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in History with Distinction in 2018, and I am a graduate of UC San Diego Extension’s ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate Program (Summer 2018 Accelerated Track).My undergraduate college at UC San Diego was Eleanor Roosevelt College. It emphasizes international understanding in its co-curricular programming and general education requirements by requiring students to complete the Making of the Modern World sequence and a regional specialization, as a well as have basic equivalency in a foreign language. Its motto is “Developing world citizens through scholarship, leadership, and service.” As an undergraduate historian, graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt College, and Vietnamese-American, I am a strong believer in the ongoing practice of empathy, global citizenship, and diversity.
