About Evelyn Manresa
As a J.D. candidate at the University of Kansas School of Law with a background in natural science and a minor in neuroscience, I’m drawn to the intersection of law, innovation, and technology. My academic and professional experiences have led me to pursue a career in intellectual property law—particularly patent prosecution and litigation—where I can apply both my legal training and technical foundation to support inventors, creators, and companies shaping the future. Having worked in both litigation and immigration law settings, I’ve seen firsthand how impactful legal advocacy can be—whether it’s helping a client secure patent protection or guiding a family through complex immigration processes. While I’m focused on building a career in IP, I also plan to remain actively engaged in pro bono work throughout my career, particularly in areas like immigration law, where access to legal representation can be life-changing. I am Patent Bar eligible and eager to contribute to a team where technical precision, strategic thinking, and purpose-driven work go hand in hand.
