As an Account Manager, I work with brokers, consultants and large employers, responsible for managing major corporate clients to develop and implement benefit and financial strategies to meet their program objectives. While promoting innovative product designs such as value-based benefits and incentive base benefit designs that promote the uses of cost-efficient providers and services. Strategic-Consulting, helping employers navigate the complex landscape of healthcare, assuring that benefits and underwriting methodology aligns with ACA rules. Present products that address the desires to improve the quality of members’ health outcomes, while reducing the employer’s program cost. Presenting clinical, financial and demographic information that provides insight into the client’s cost drivers, including plan designs that will manage risk pools and provide incentives for healthy behavior. Accountable for financial performance and account renewal’s as well as ongoing customer service.Creating account specific plans that address client needs and provides a short term and long range plan for growing and retaining clients. My duties include, the use of data informatics to analyze client specific information, interpreting information to assist in the development of meaningful account strategy to address complex client needs. Developing Strategic Plan documents annually for each client within my book of business. These Strategic Plans include proposing services and products for the upcoming plan year, including our growth potential, along with the financial impact resulting from achieving contract growth. Identifying operational impacts and resources needed to expand contract growth, along with disclosing unforeseen complications associated with these proposed expansions. These documents are used to forecast our operational needs and capital gains/losses.
