ABOUT EVELINA BRUMAR
I am currently a third-year Biomedical Science student at Coventry University, where I specialize in researching biofilm formation in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and its significant role in chronic lung infections among cystic fibrosis patients. My research is focused on innovative strategies to disrupt biofilms and enhance the effectiveness of antibiotics, effectively bridging the gap between groundbreaking research and real-world medical challenges. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have honed my leadership skills as a Supervisor in a fast-paced environment, where I expertly manage responsibilities while balancing my studies. This role has not only sharpened my organizational skills but also enhanced my ability to think on my feet and perform effectively under pressure. I am deeply passionate about advancing the field of science, particularly in infection research and molecular biology. I am actively seeking opportunities to grow further, contribute to impactful projects, and make a meaningful difference in healthcare and biotechnology.
