   Service Coordinator for the Family and Social Services- Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services. In my position, I coordinate and oversee Medicaid-funded services for people diagnosed with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. I primarily work with adults who reside in Supervised Group Living facilities, or group homes. I work daily with providers, individuals, families, and supports to ensure recipients are receiving appropriate care and given choice in the way in which they receive their medicaid services. I oversee transitions when moving in or out of a group home and maintain contact through their time living in the group home. I communicate via phone and email, but also regularly conduct in-person visits to group homes throughout the Greater Indianapolis area to talk with staff, residents, and families.
