Evan is a lifelong entrepreneur and data geek who has co-founded and led several successful businesses within the eyecare industry. Evan now supports a broad range of mission-driven businesses as an advisor, investor, and growth strategist. His latest project provides resources and advocacy for people & entrepreneurs who stutter. Starting with his family’s own eye care practice in the – which he managed, grew three-fold, and exited to private equity – Evan noticed a lack of business tools for growing and managing private practices. So, in 2008, he co-founded GPN to empower optometrists to be the CEOs of their own practices through real-time data, as well as to aggregate point-of-sale data across a fragmented market. Evan led technology and business development as GPN rose to be the premier data-and-analytics company in eye care, coming to serve over independent practices as well as the industry’s largest manufacturers and distributors.After 40 years in New York, Evan now lives in Washington State with his wife Paula, where they both serve in their most fulfilling roles yet: parents to three adventurous daughters.
