   Leading the operational and academic innovation of the online education unit in a top 50 public research university that is the 4th largest public state institution in the nation. Ensuring at the helm of this leadership is institutional strategy, learner success and quality pedagogy. Directing a unit with a portfolio of over 170 online academic products, with over 60 in areas of institutional strategic emphasis and through those pathways providing options to students to customize their academic experience. Holding the number one spot in the nation in Fall 2020 for the most Quality Matters certified courses. Continuously looking for ways to give our students an edge through programs such as Career Engage, which prepares online learners with professional-readiness skills and fellowships such as our SV Academy partnership which provides students with a tuition free online job training program. Keeping the whole learner at the center leading the statewide initiative on encouraging low cost to no cost course material options through which faculty and courses are awarded the Affordability Counts medallion. Consistently innovating in technologies supporting learning as demonstrated through five Canvas LTI Integrations built in house such as Vivo and Creator Pro. Appointed as 1 of 3 division heads by executive leadership to serve on the Academic Continuity Team, to scale support university wide in emergency response to COVID-19. Innovating during the emergency response period as demonstrated through the introduction of Online LIVE and creation of AskCharlie and MySchedule; both supported university wide platforms conceived in response to executive leadership ask to provide students a concierge-like service to understand and navigate their academic options to remain on the path toward graduation despite the challenges brought on by a global pandemic.
