ABOUT EVANGELIA GAVRILOS
With a passion for exploring the world through the lens of International Studies and Linguistics, I received two Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of Florida, where I was a member of the International Scholars Program, a four-year medallion program dedicated to creating well-rounded, global citizens. As a legal intern at Ritardo Aereo, I applied my analytical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication skills to process passenger claims for violations of travel rights within the European Union, assist partners with translating legal documents, and conduct research of the legal system surrounding travel rights. I also gained valuable experience as an undergraduate research assistant, where I analyzed and transcribed data sets of video recordings from foreign language speakers, specifically, with the endangered Ghanaian language, Nyangbo, using the language software, ELAN. I am eager to contribute my skills and insights to a team that values diversity, innovation, and a global perspective. I have developed competencies in grant writing, leadership, and international relations, and I am proficient in English, Italian, and Greek. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in the world.
