The Offshore Operators Committee (OOC) represents leading companies on the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), including offshore renewable energy. Our members produce over 90% of energy, hold over 90% of leases, and operate over 80% of facilities on the OCS. We focus on providing essential information and technical support for safe and environmentally sound operations.Focus Areas: Offshore Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind & Renewables, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)Key Achievements as Executive Director: transformed the organization to one of the most collaborative government facing energy trade organizations. Expanded scope to all US Federal OCS regions. Acquired administration of the DeepStar Research Program. Launched the OOC Oil & Gas Blockchain Consortium. Automated activity management. Enhanced effectiveness of interactions with BSEE, BOEM, and USCG. Strengthened collaborations with NOIA, ACP, API, IAGC, IADC, G+, and LMOGA.
