I am a VA CPA with 20 years of diversified public and corporate accounting experience. My corporate experience includes government contracting and commercial companies. I believe people are at the core of my success and have worked hard to build strong personnel management skills in order to build and motivate strong teams. Though not often said in accounting, the people are a key part of what I enjoy about my job and what keeps me going.In addition to focusing on people, I have a strong passion for transformation. I have successful experience participating in and leading key transformation initiatives - from systems integrations, SOX implementations, new guidance implementation and close process improvement. I have a great deal of M&A experience as a result - from due diligence to integration post acquisition - in both the public company and PE space.
