About Evan Ward
I graduated with a masters in international relations from SAIS in May of 2024, where I spent my first year in Bologna and second in DC. My regional focus is Europe and Eurasia.Between the two years, my internship at Eni in Rome caused me to become interested in energy, particularly natural gas, hydrogen, biofuels, and nuclear. I am currently a part-time intern at the U.S. Department of Energy\'s office of international affairs, Europe/Eurasia section.I\'m also very interested in geopolitics and analyzing developments in it, such as conflicts, coalitions, and the rising multipolar world order.I have deep and long-held interests in public policy and politics and I enjoy untangling problems with innovative ideas.
