NuvOx Therapeutics is developing a first-in-class drug for oxygen delivery: NanO₂™. NuvOx has completed Phase Ib/II clinical trials in stroke and glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain cancer. In stroke, NanO₂ keeps the brain alive until blood flow can be restored. In GBM, NanO₂ increases tumor oxygen levels to make tumors more sensitive to radiation therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. NuvOx is currently enrolling subjects in a Phase IIb trial in GBM. The NIHR in the UK is funding a 150 subject Phase IIb trial in ischemic stroke, due to start Q1 of 2025. We have begun a Phase Ib trial in respiratory distress in Canada funded by BARDA.
