ABOUT EVAN TUMMILLO

With over 4.5 years of experience in the energy sector, I am a passionate and driven director of research and external relations at Bedrock Energy Corp, a leading company in renewable energy solutions. My core competencies include communication, analytical skills, and trust building, which enable me to conduct effective Indigenous consultations, develop key partnerships, and lead public and government relations strategies. I am committed to advancing the company\'s mission of providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy to communities across Canada, while respecting the rights and interests of Indigenous peoples and stakeholders. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in international relations and political sciences, and I speak both English and French. In my current role, I have been leading the first of its kind Compressed Air Energy Storage in Porous Rock application through O.Reg 151/22 with the Ministry of Natural Resources, a groundbreaking project that has the potential to revolutionize the energy storage industry. I have also been conducting Indigenous consultations with Treaty 29 Nations on behalf of Bedrock, ensuring that their concerns and feedback are addressed and incorporated into the project design and implementation. Additionally, I have been liaising with external consultants in the conceptualization, organization, and execution of public and government relations strategies, as well as developing key partnerships with equipment manufacturers. Through these initiatives, I have demonstrated my ability to deliver results, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and support the company\'s vision and values.
