About Evan Anderson
I am passionate about solving problems and deriving actionable insights through data. Currently, I am a Delivery Engineer at TetraScience. I work with our pharma and biotech customers to provide standardization and integration solutions for their messy life sciences R&D data. This enables our customers to easily and quickly search and obtain critical data. Broadly speaking, this is enabled through our Data Integration Platform, which looks for raw data on laboratory machines, uploads it to AWS cloud, and standardizes and indexes it for easy processing and analysis. More specifically, I write the programs in python which standardize this data, design the standardized data models, and work with customers to make sure that we are providing useful solutions form them, such as integration with data visualization and analysis platforms like Tableau and Jupyter notebooks. I am so excited to be providing insight and value at the intersection of data and biology. As a graduate student at Yale in Physiology, one of my favorite things to do was write programs in MATLAB and python to automate my data processing. This interest in programming and data analysis prompted me to do the Insight Health Data Program in Boston, where I had the opportunity to explore my interest in predictive modeling and machine learning.
