About Evan Meade

As a driven and globally minded student, I recently graduated from South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia, where I completed the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, earning my diploma and graduating at the top of my class with a perfect unweighted GPA. Throughout high school, I was actively involved in a variety of clubs and organizations, which helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. In addition to academic accomplishments, I was also a Varsity swimmer all four years. My passion for global perspectives led me to participate in the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), through which I became proficient in German and gained meaningful cross-cultural experience. During high school, I also started a non-profit focused on training young students in public speaking and debate. I believe in empowering all voices to speak effectively and passionately, developing powerful communicators for the future. I am currently attending the University of Virginia, where I am studying Politics and Economics with a minor in German. I am especially interested in the intersection of public policy, law, and economic systems—areas I hope to explore further through internships, research, and long-term professional opportunities. I look forward to connecting and I am always open to new learning experiences and collaborations.
