As Managing Partner, I oversee the firm’s strategic direction, investment thesis development, and portfolio management, with a particular emphasis on emerging medical technologies and early-stage device companies.Recognizing the unique challenges faced by medtech startups in bridging clinical validation, regulatory pathways, and commercialization, I launched the Haddon Rig MedTech Fund—a vehicle designed to accelerate the translation of promising innovations into market-ready solutions. The fund partners with visionary founders and engineering teams to provide not only capital but also operational guidance, regulatory insight, and go-to-market expertise.My approach integrates a deep understanding of biomedical engineering, clinical needs, and commercialization dynamics—shaped by years leading product development and commercialization efforts in medical devices. I focus on identifying technologies that address unmet clinical needs, offer clear pathways to adoption, and demonstrate scalable manufacturing and reimbursement potential.Through Haddon Rig, I’ve helped advance a growing portfolio of companies at the intersection of technology, medicine, and patient care—with investments spanning minimally invasive surgery, digital health, and advanced materials.
