About Evan J. C.

Evan Collier is a Government Relations Professional with Easterseals New Jersey, where he leads statewide advocacy to advance policies supporting individuals with disabilities and special needs. He draws on extensive legislative experience, most notably as Chief of Staff to a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, where his policy leadership and relationship building contributed to the legislator becoming the most successful freshman in Assembly history, passing more bills than any freshman legislator to date.Previously, Evan served with the New Jersey Hospital Association, focusing on healthcare policy and coalition building to advance initiatives benefiting hospitals and healthcare providers statewide. His deep understanding of the legislative process and collaborative approach position him as a trusted and effective advocate in Trenton and beyond.Outside of his policy work, Evan serves as President of the Board of Directors for Brothership Inc, a nonprofit dedicated to educating, elevating, and empowering men through mentorship, personal development, and leadership opportunities. Under his leadership, Brothership has expanded its reach through convenings that bring together community leaders, policymakers, and educators to foster dialogue on mental wellness, purpose, resilience, and civic engagement. Beginning December 2025, Evan also serves as a Board Member of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.Evan is deeply committed to athletics and coaching. He currently serves as Head Coach at Wilmington Friends School in Wilmington, Delaware, and previously served as Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Saint Elizabeth University. During the 2023 to 2024 basketball season, his first year on staff, he helped guide the program to its first ever divisional championship victory over Wilson College.In track and field, Evan led teams to historic milestones. In 2024, the men’s team earned the first podium finish in school history, placing second and securing a medal. The following season, the program achieved three total medals, including the women’s team’s first ever medal and the first double medal finish in separate events in school history.Evan is certified in Mental Health First Aid, underscoring his commitment to holistic leadership. Across all his roles, he is driven by a consistent mission to empower others, break new ground, and deliver meaningful impact.
