ABOUT EVAN HARWOOD

Evan is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Maxwell Street Capital Partners (\"Maxwell Street”). As Managing Partner, he is responsible for day-to-day management of the Firm. Evan is a member of the Investment Committee and is actively involved in all aspects of the Firm’s investment activity. Evan serves as board chair for Port Jersey Logistics, a port-centric 3PL offering integrated temperature-controlled logistics services, and The Integration Group, a provider of contract logistics and value-added supply chain solutions for customers across the automotive, agriculture, animal feed, food, chemical, and industrial equipment sectors. Based in Evanston, Illinois, Maxwell Street is a private equity firm focused on transportation, logistics, supply chain, and route-based services businesses. Leveraging our deep investment and operational experience in our target industries, Maxwell Street seeks to partner with families, founders and management teams to help them scale their businesses and achieve their goals. Prior to founding Maxwell Street, Evan spent nearly thirteen years at Equity Group Investments (“EGI”), the private investment firm of Sam Zell, where he led sourcing and execution across transportation, logistics, supply chain, waste, infrastructure, and industrials sectors. He served on the boards of directors of several EGI portfolio companies, including: East Coast Warehouse and Distribution, a provider of temperature-controlled logistics services to the food and beverage industry; Paper Transport, a for-hire trucking company focused on dedicated truckload, intermodal and brokerage services; Able Freight Services, an airfreight forwarder focused on time-sensitive perishable goods; Lanter Delivery Systems, an overnight, unattended delivery service provider to OEM dealer locations; RailUSA, a short line and regional railroad platform; The Pasha Group, a provider of ocean transportation and logistics services; and Waste Industries, a vertically integrated, solid waste management company, among others.Prior to EGI, Evan worked as an associate at Trust Company of the West in the Special Situations Group where he focused on opportunistic investing across the capital structure in private and public markets. Evan began his career at Citigroup in the Leveraged Finance Group working on LBOs, corporate M&A, and debt capital markets. Evan holds a B.B.A, Finance & Accounting, magna cum laude, from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
