As a dynamic physician leader and administrator, I have 18 years of clinical practice success and over 15 years of executive hospital & health system management in dyad leadership with administration. In clinical practice, my work with sports injuries and degenerative conditions of the hand and upper extremity has led to advances in arthroscopic surgery and other less invasive treatment options. As a hospital leader, I’m an influential advisor building revenue-driving, high-performing teams that meet strategic objectives and organizational missions. In addition, I have been retained as a consultant to Fortune 500 medical technologies firms regarding product development, market-competitive strategies, and medical analytics. Further, I have developed niche, innovative healthcare products and services to improve patient outcomes and care quality. I will oversee the collaboration with numerous vendor partners in the Center for Innovation ecosystem and provide an essential clinician perspective in the evaluation phase of innovation projects. I will be working closely with our vendors at various levels in their involvement with Houston Methodist, providing feedback to enhance applications and increase success metrics particularly around workforce change management.
