When I started working at 19, I didn\'t have an exact direction for my career. At that time, I only cared about being employed and having a consistent income. I would then have job after job where I felt stuck—working a 9-5 with no clear goal. Last year, while working security at my former company Securitas, I realized I needed an actual career. I\'ve always wanted to grow within a company, provide for myself and my future family, Worry less about my income, etc. Two weeks ago, I was aimlessly browsing the web for a career that aligned with my interest. On that day two weeks ago, I stumbled upon course careers, and well, the rest is history.Since starting Course careers, I have read books such as \"How to win friends and influence people\" by Dale Carnegie,\'Fanatical Prospecting\' by Jeb Blount, and \"SPIN Selling\" by Neil Rackham, including many others. I want to turn everything I\'ve read into a skill where I can use that material to help me within a role. I\'ve also learned skills such as researching new prospects, cold outreach, and running a discovery call using SPIN & BANT.I\'m looking to get started at a sales development internship where I can learn from the best and refine my skills where I\'ve been learning and practicing. Along this journey, I will fail, but I will work hard to succeed. My goal is to go all the way to up to Director of Sales!
