As part of the Marketing & Business Development Team I provide the day-to-day commercial training and services customer relationship focus to understand the College\'s customers’ needs, perceptions and results seen from their commercial engagements with us. My aim is to ensure existing commercial customers are happy with our services, understand the results they see from working with the college, identify gaps to inform future product and service developments, and better promote and sell our products and services to known customers and look-a-like commercial customers.

Having lived in rural Scotland for over 30 years I appreciate the challenges and opportunities a region like Dumfries & Galloway has to offer. With that in mind I using my networking, business advice and project management skills to support community engagement activities, social enterprise initiatives and rural SMEs. I am a positive, self-motivated, customer-focused individual. I am confident and able to work under pressure with strong team working skills. Many years of work experience in the private and public sector have developed my understanding of the different needs within the sectors and have equipped me with excellent written and verbal communication skills. When not at work I enjoy photography, gardening, Pilates, playing the ukulele, cooking and sourdough baking. I will give my all at work but will always make time for my family
