I’m proud to serve as the Director of Events for Helen Woodward Animal Center, a nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and education that gives animals a second chance at life.Each year, I have the joy of producing six major events that bring our mission to life:• Spring Fling Gala, an elegant evening celebrating compassion and community• PAWmicon, a comic-themed celebration where heroes come in all species• Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon, the world-famous dog surfing competition that makes a splash for a cause• Remember Me Thursday®, a global movement shining a light on orphan pets• Paws & Unwind – numerous fun events throughout the year focused on pet lovers and creativity• HOPE Telethon – our live televised fundraiser bringing stories of hope to homes across San DiegoAfter many wonderful years in the hotel and hospitality industry, I wanted my professional skills to make a more personal impact. At Helen Woodward, every event I plan helps save lives, tell stories of hope, and connect people to the animals who change them.As a lifelong animal lover and proud rescue dog mom, I believe that when people and pets come together, amazing things happen—and I’m grateful to create experiences that help make that magic possible every day.
