ABOUT EVA FURR

I believe flourishing lives depend on environments that care for the whole person - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and creatively. My work is grounded in two main values: courage and stewardship. I’m driven by the courage to build what doesn’t yet exist, and by the responsibility to meaningfully steward time, people, and resources. Professionally, I focus on advancing sustainability in the residential energy space as an energy auditor. I help homeowners improve energy efficiency, reduce utility costs, and ease strain on the electric grid, while also contributing to lower emissions across the DMV region. Alongside this work, I’m an artist (evaswansonmusic.com), vocal coach, and founder of Evoca Studios. Since 2019, I’ve been creating music, developing vocal coaching services, and curating experiences that bring people together through community and creativity. I’m especially interested in the intersection of sustainability and the arts, and how these fields can work together to build more resilient, informed, and inspired communities. My background is in environmental science and public affairs, with experience across the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Guidehouse, Grant Thornton, Energy Efficiency Experts, and EDGE Energy. Across these roles, I’ve contributed to policy analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, compliance reporting, and data-driven communication in support of environmental initiatives.
