ABOUT EVA PLACIDE

As a student in MSc Financial Markets and Investments at SKEMA Business School, how my educational background and experiences can benefit your organization?Curiosity is a core of my personal brand. My interest in finance began in high school with the strong belief that it was essential to understand our global economy. I ended up following financial news and then decided to follow an economic and financial academic course!My journey started with an economic and commercial preparatory class, whose high requirements forged me an ability to work under pressure and to be rigorous. Then I joined the French Business School SKEMA. Outside of academics, I explored my interests in culture, literature, and geopolitics by joining an association that was organizing debates, conferences, and operating its own newspaper. Subsequently, I gained valuable experience through internships in financial analysis at Dassault Systèmes and credit analysis at Societe Générale Corporate Investment Banking. These roles sharpened my analytical and writing skills, as I produced credit analyses for a corporate portfolio while respecting tight deadlines. Moreover, these diverse experiences allowed me to comprehend the broader economic landscape, working across various industries and business lines, ultimately refining my career goal of venturing into the financial sector!Consequently, I made the choice to pursue a specialized MSc in Financial Markets and Investments this year.
