As a clinician at Umbrella Collective Inc, I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents, primarily individuals with LGBTQ intersecting identities. I use skills from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and somatic awareness in my practice with clients. I use an intersectional feminist lens and a liberation health approach in my practice to help clients unpack the economic, political, cultural, and historical conditions that influence their experiences. In my work with clients, I strive to validate and build individual strengths, explore intersectional identities, and find sources of support and community for those on the journey toward embodying their freest selves.
