ABOUT EVA BONACCORSI

Civil Engineer at Jacobs with seven years of industry experience in infrastructure projects, with a focus on highways design and virtual design construction. I hold a Master of Civil Engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University, and I am a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.I am currently working on a pharmaceutical project as project design coordinator. Previously I worked on producing 4D models with SYNCHRO 4D, and implementing the UK BIM Framework, including ISO19650. I am skilled in various software tools, such as Civil 3D, Navisworks, Infraworks, Revizto, ProjectWise, Excel, MsProject.Within the transportation field, I worked on several stages of the A9 Dualling and Lower Thames Crossing projects, worth £3bn and £9bn respectively. I designed and evaluated highways schemes using AutoCAD Civil 3D, following the DMRB standards. I also developed cost estimates, drafted employers requirements, led multidisciplinary teams, and coordinated quality assurance protocols. In addition, I am an active STEM ambassador, facilitating engineering workshops for local high schools and giving talks at universities. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions that benefit society and the environment.
