ABOUT EVA BODENBACH
Dr. Eva Bodenbach is specialised in maritime and transport law.She represents and advises a number of German and international shipping companies and freight forwarders as well as marine underwriters and has extensive experience in ship building, ships’ sale and purchase and ship financing.Eva studied law at Heidelberg and Madrid and submitted her thesis on the subject of public international law. During her legal training Eva worked with international law firms in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Before Eva joined Fleet Hamburg as a founding member, she was an associate in the shipping department of Taylor Wessing since 2002 and a partner since 2006.Eva is a member of the German Association for International Maritime Law and of the German Maritime Arbitration Association. She is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and Spanish.
