Engineering Consultancy, Business Development tasks/ responsibilities with budgetary authority of £200k+ per order as proxy for the Global Board, from Sept 2024 to Dec 2024.• Management Consultant to both divisional CEO and Managing Director, within EDAGUK Leadership Team, providing engineering direction and achievement of all Advanced Engineering projects and deliverables.• Manage direct and indirect reports for local (UK) and global (US) complex and multidisciplinary projects to automotive (OEM, 1st & 2nd Tier) clients.• Provide training and staff development to retain efficiency of technically capable department.• Integrate within global engineering peers, to knowledge share and execute EDAGs International goals.• Consultant expert in Chassis, Exterior, Interior, Powertrain (Transmissions & Driveline), Electrical, Whole Vehicle (NVH), Materials (Polymers & Polyurethanes), Testing, Standards (ISO), Regulations (UNECE) and Advanced Engineering (Axiomatic Design, Advanced Quality, Manufacture (Smart, Lean) & Agile Project Management).• Manage/ facilitate Failure Mode Avoidance (Process & Design FMEA), Attributes (PALS), Requirements (IBM Doors), Test (DVP/ R), APQP & PPAP (SQA) & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM & PDM: JIRA).• Manage opportunities via Quotations, Calculations, Budget Phasing and International Resource Planning.• Manage Suppliers & Key Account Managers as single point of contact (SPOC) to clients.• Manage creation/ implementation of company strategies for performance, quality and sales targets.• Manage Group UK market entry points, establishing partnerships/ collaborations within new industries.
