Currently part of a team of international chemical regulatory experts delivering the KSA National Chemical Safety Program. This multi-year, multi-phase initiative is focused on establishing an integrated technology platform alongside a comprehensive regulatory framework. The program includes the development of harmonised legislation and procedures covering chemical safety assessment, GHS classification and labelling, emergency preparedness, registration, notification, evaluation, permitting, authorisation, restriction, reporting, compliance, and enforcement.It also incorporates key environmental management components, including licensing, environmental impact assessments (EIA), emissions reporting, and pollutant release and transfer registers (PRTR). A strong emphasis is placed on data traceability and enabling near real-time, data-driven decision-making.In my role, I am actively engaged in assessment of existing chemical management practices in KSA, conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement, perform international benchmarking, and contribute to the development of legislative proposals and functional requirements for the technology platform. Through this work, I support the advancement of robust chemical governance frameworks, enhancing both industrial safety and environmental protection.

I am a consultant specialising in chemical reporting, supplier data collection and compliance systems, with cross-sector experience across Aerospace, Defence, Electronics, Medical Devices and other highly regulated sectors.My work focuses on designing and implementing practical systems to collect, manage, and report chemicals data (consumed individually, or within mixtures, materials, articles) across complex global supply chains.
