I currently serve as a Technical Marketing Engineer Europe at NuSil Technology LLC, where I bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications in the medical device and advanced technological industries. My role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate scientific innovations into commercially viable solutions that meet stringent regulatory standards. As a biomedical scientist by trade with a Master of Engineering in Biotechnologies from the Cergy Paris Univerisity (former Université de Cergy-Pontoise/CY Tech) and a PhD in Pharmacy from Queen’s University Belfast, I specialized in developing innovative silicone-based biomaterials to enhance patient outcomes in medical devices. My doctoral research focused on modifying silicone elastomers to reduce capsular contracture in breast implants by incorporating pharmacological agents such as dexamethasone, simvastatin, and various metal-based compounds (Cu/Zn). This work, supported by NuSil Technology LLC, demonstrated promising results in improving the mechanical properties and biocompatibility of implantable materials.
