Accountable for improvement and implementation of Corrosion Management Strategies across Apache North Sea operations. Responsibilities include- Accountability for Materials, Welding and Corrosion compliance across Apache North Sea assets- Articulate and implement corrosion management philosophy and strategies for topsides and subsea equipment- Functions as the custodian of the Materials and Corrosion Management Strategies across Apache North Sea assets- Operational support and interface with offshore team, contractors, third party verification and governmental bodies (including the HSE)- Coordinates and approves development of Material Degradation Assessments (MDAs) and predictive analysis as feed into the Risk Based Assessment (RBA) process- Accountable for Apache North Sea Material Degradation indicators and ensures adequate for interpretation and feed to WSE and Risk Based Assessments (RBA)- Focal point for the provision of expert technical knowledge and advice on metallurgical, materials and corrosion related issues- Preparation and communication of material degradation risks to Apache management and other stake holders- Accountable for failure investigation and implementation of learnings from this process- Leads corrosion awareness and education of best practice across Apache North Sea assets- Networking with other operators in the North Sea to ensure that lessons learned are effectively communicated across Apache assets- Leads the development and maintenance of key performance indicators for effectiveness of corrosion management across Apache assets- Supports Inspection and Corrosion Engineers in the preparation of Written Schemes of Examination and participates in authoritative and risk-based assessment process- Supports the preparation of annual reports to partners and other stakeholders.
