During my career, supported the 30K Base-XLR Airframe Systems Integration Leader supporting the customer, Airbus, towards Certification of the XLR Aircraft. As Deputy CIPT Leader (Component Integrated Product Team) for 24K/17K HPC (High Pressure Compressor), managed over a $17.5M budget and lead over 100 multi-discipline Engineers. As CSE (Compression Systems Engineering) Module Center Product Cost Manager, able to drive cost reduction activities with over $400K in savings for CSE GTF (Geared Turbo Fan) Programs. As the 30K/24K LPC (Low Pressure Compressor) CIPT Producibility Manager, I was able to provide leadership to the CIPT Triage Teams for high problem parts LPC IBR’s (Integrally Bladed Rotors). Drove reduction of Quality Notifications (QN’s): greater than 90% reduction for 30K IBR’s with BTL, and greater than 70% reduction for 24K IBR’s with RLC, working directly with the suppliers through root cause and corrective action. Able to lead the design team for the HPC dual actuation system, which is Pratt & Whitney’s first dual actuation system used on a commercial engine program. Thru preliminary design and validation for 30K A320 NEO PW1100G HPC (High Pressure Compressor) SVA (Stator Vane Actuation) System. With a strong technical background in Kinematic Systems, and 9X US Patents Issued. Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton, and a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
