ABOUT EUGENE ZHANG

You’re a small fish in a big pond. I used to hate this saying. I thought it implied that I was weak, that since there were already so many talented and successful people in my field I should simply hide and give up. Thus, that is exactly what I did. For two whole years, I avoided the tech field, intimidated by all the young talent, frightened by the competition. It wasn’t until my junior year of high school that I decided to give tech a serious try. Despite my initial self-doubt, I pushed forward and quickly became captivated by the world of programming. Like many budding coders, I was fascinated by the infinite possibilities at my disposal; all from running code on a computer. Nowadays, I build software to create elegant solutions. I aim to keep all my projects open-source and hope that my work can inspire and drive other developers to new heights as well.
