About Efthymios Tzinis
I am currently a research scientist at Google, working on audio-visual perception for mobile devices and sound understanding in general. I got my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and before that, I graduated with a diploma (MEng equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. In the past, I have also been conducting research for Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) and Reality Labs at Meta. I am also a past recipient of the Google PhD Fellowship.
