About Eti Singh
Hello This is Eti. In short, I am a full-time marketing professional, a part-time jack of many other trades & a master of some. I understand that we all are struggling with less than an 8-second attention span but if you are interested in knowing me better, then here it goes - Once upon a time, there was a girl in the small town of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Early in her life, she showed signs of being a nerd & began to be a nuisance to her parents with questions that she\'d ask them. Her parents would drown her in books to keep her curiosity in check & get her to attend various activity classes to keep her busy. As the life of most nerds goes, she grew up to be a school scholar who loved to read & write and thanks to childhood activities she also ended up becoming a trained theatre actor. Now her parents were confused about her life path but they stayed true to their lower-middle-class roots. They declared that given her academic achievements, she must do engineering and would be free to \'do anything she wants\' post her engineering education. Like a good daughter (who was also financially dependent on her parents), she agreed to pursue engineering and ended up at BITS Pilani (reports are correct, it is indeed a premier institute, 10/10 recommend for a well-rounded college life). She loved the hustle energy, analytical approach, and overall resourcefulness of being an engineer. But her creative bug was not satisfied yet, after all, she was someone who wrote poetry, acted on stage, and loved interacting with people.So she went on a journey to find a marriage of her creative and analytical mind; after some trial & error, luckily she found marketing. She got to use her data-driven nature and interest in acting out pieces to connect with an audience. What more could she ask for? Happily and gladly, this nerd learned the ways of branding, market research, marketing plans, product roadmaps, budgeting, partnerships, PR & much more. But deep down, it still is & will always be about being a curious cat with questions & a genuine interest in people.This has been a happy story thus far.
