About Ethan Werner
I am a Senior in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Mathematics. I have routinely proven my knowledge in the classroom by making the Dean\'s List each semester and even achieving a 4.0 GPA this past semester. Additionally, I have valuable work experience from my position at QR Genetics last Summer. this role provided valuable experience in compiling and cleaning databases and full-stack web app development. I am also currently working on a personal project to help streamline the assessment appeals process for local real estate lawyers. On top of that, this semester I started a position as a teacher\'s assistant for the Business Information Technology Department to further learn about my passion for the intersection of Computer Science and business applications. Outside of the Computer Science field, I am a strong leader in the Jewish student community, serving numerous roles, including president of both Hillel at Virginia Tech and the Pipeline Project at Virginia Tech, which aims to connect Jewish students and alumni for professional development. In my free time, I love hiking with my dog, climbing, and teaching young kids about outdoor adventuring. Most importantly, I am hard-working and an eager learner willing to meet any challenge head-on.
