I am passionate about ecology, wildlife conservation, and ecosystem management. I earned my MS degree at the University of Florida in the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, where I researched human conflicts with Florida black bears (Ursus americanus floridanus). I have worked for the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) as a wildlife biologist since 2016. I believe that people are stewards of the land and have a responsibility for managing its natural resources, both utilitarian and ecological.
