Senior product and engineering leader with experience building AI-driven products and data platforms at scale across startups and global technology companies. Ethan has led and delivered foundational AI products spanning autonomy, data conflation, and knowledge extraction. He has delivered consumer and B2B products from 0 to 1 (greenfield) and 1 to n to hundreds of millions of daily active users with ML-powered systems autonomy and ADAS and data services that unify large-scale structured and unstructured data into actionable assets. At Apple, he built the Apple Maps data backbone specifically designed to leverage user feedback as training data—powering automated learning loops that continuously improved map accuracy and quality at global scale. At Amazon, he built an ML-based record linkage system, now embedded in AWS Lake Formation. Most recently as Global Head of Product at Woven by Toyota, he led product for AI-powered ADAS and Autonomy features, a vehicle OS, and ideated and incubated the world’s first LLM designed to “speak car” to enable safety, personalization, and automation across Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
